2. Introduction
Zhang Yong received his Ph.D. from Peking University, he is the Director of Institute of Law, Foreign Arbitrator of Tianjin Arbitration Commission.
Professor Zhang has published the following academic achievements: International Trade Law of Credit (Nankai University Press, 1996); On the Harmonization of International Environmental Law and Domestic Environmental Law (Contemporary Environmental Law, 1992); The Function of Law and Market Economy (Theory and Modernization, 1994); Accelerating the Establishment of a Standardized Foreign Trade System (Theory and Modernization, 1994); Talking about Self-Protection in International Trade (China Lawyer Journal 1994); Several Stages of Development of the Rules of Naval Warfare from the San Remo Manual on the Law of Armed Conflict at Sea (Chinese Yearbook of International Law 1996); China’s practice in international humanitarian law (English, International Humanitarian Law Yearbook 1998); Analysis of the Atrocities of the US-led NATO from the Perspective of International Law (Tianjin Lawyer 1999).
