Introduction
Yan Yu is the associate professor of Nankai University Law School. She made a special lecture called Can We Introduce Arbitration Rules in Tax Treaties? at the University of Lodz. She took part in an overseas training program in the University of Calgary organized by China Scholarship Council. She has won the first prize in the 12th Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Tianjin Young Teachers in Colleges and Universities.
Professor Yan has published one monograph A Paradigm Study of Conflict of Laws Theory .She has translated one book called Policy and Pragmatism in Conflict of Laws. Yan won the First Prize of Excellent Research Results of Tianjin Communist Youth League in 2013(the work was about the Protection of Minors' Rights and Interests in Internet Infringement Cases). She has coached for the law school’s Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition since 2014. She is a director of China Youth & Children Research Association and a director of China Society of Private International Law.
