On Mar. 5th, 2022, the ”Sino-Japanese Legal System Development Seminar” jointly held by Nankai Law School and the Law Department of Yamanashi Gakuin University was successfully held.The meeting was held in the way of "online meeting and on-site participation". The two universities set up separate meeting venues to report and discuss through online conference. Fu Shicheng, Dean of the Nankai Law School, Cui Manshun, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee, Law School, Nankai University, and the Vice Dean Shi Xueying and the Vice Dean Song Hualin attended the meeting in Nankai. Professors Xiong Dayun and Liu Xing of Yamanashi Gakuin University, and associate professors Yang Guangping and Xie Qingchuan of Nankai University undertake translation work.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Professor Saito Yadai of Yamanashi Gakuin University.Professor Fu Shicheng, Dean of Nankai Law School, delivered a closing speech. Professor Fu Shicheng pointed out that all the speakers of this seminar presented the main content of the report in a limited time and put forward valuable understanding and views, which is helpful for mutual understanding about the relevant systems of their respective countries and their development and changes.
Since the establishment of the friendly and cooperative relationship in 1993, the two universities have established a long-term friendship through teacher visits, joint seminars and other activities. We sincerely hope that the existing friendship between the two universities could be further carried forward.Under the new historical conditions, further forms of cooperation, deepen cooperation and exchange will be explored, and the development of the law disciplines of the two universities will be promoted.
