About the course
The first time I learned about the course of legal history was in Taiyuan University of Technology in 2001. At that time, Professor Zhou Ziliang of Shanxi University taught History of Chinese Legal System, which had a great impact on me. During my study in Jilin University, the teaching attitude, teaching philosophy and even the speech and behavior between classes of my mentors, Professor Huo Cunfu and Professor Lv Li, had become a valuable asset in my future career as a teacher.
2、About Lyrics
For most liberal arts courses, the memorization of basic knowledge is always a headache for beginners, and it is easy to get bored. In order to help students solve memory difficulties, I found that memorizing key knowledge in the form of pithy formula is an effective method. So I kept summarizing my existing knowledge and compiled some pithy formula to teach students. The effect was quite good.
3、 About Charts
PPT with full of words has lagged behind the times for many years. The teaching content with more pictures and less words may be more suitable for young people. In the process of teaching, properly insert figures and tables, which will certainly have a good effect. It was finally produced after careful consideration of the key knowledge of legal history.
4、 Ideal
My ideal course of legal history is not that kind of descriptive history teaching. It should be regular, practical and operational. It takes students through the history of law, to feel the institutional civilization of traditional society. With interesting legal practice in the class, students can open up their thinking on the rules, legal wisdom and order principles in the daily life of the ancients.
